These airbeds are made of strong PVC. Our experience with all airbeds are that they may appear to have a smaller dimension due to the stiffness of the PVC after they have been packaged into a box. They will however stretch and increase in size over time, during this time you may need to inflate the bed regularly so that it reaches its optimum settled size.
