seriously other than power consumption I can not think of any negatives.it fries like a full size fryer it is light east to clean. because it can heat up tp 200Deg. C the food does not become soggy.if you like jucy crisp fried fish this is the fryer for you. I have used several times for different sea food and it is brilliant.
