Would not advise for a keyboard stand - very wobbly - unstable - even for a moderate keyboard in fact not even stable for a childs keyboard. we even pushed it up the a wall and it still moved side to side. We ended up cutting up and using the metal for parts around the house. The seat was not too bad but unstable unless one sat on it because it used a cross system bar. once you sat on it it was OK.
