The mat has thick foam so my baby is not hurt if falls. Pattern on the mat is interesting keeps baby engaged. Was looking for a bigger size which I found at CrazySales. Really glad I bought this. Delivery was quick too. Can order playpen of the same size which is perfectWill definitely recommend this. Just wish it would be cheaper.
