Received the Maxkon ice makerwater dispenser yesterday. I chose to use the manual method of fill over attaching to tap. Created ice quickly enough the water becomes cooler after the unit has made ice. I emptied the ice compartment approx 4 times in a 7 hour period when it showed the full symbol and transferred to the freezer for extra supplies. I bought this to entice the kids into drinking more water and because we all enjoy lots of ice with water and any other cold beverage. If you like lots of ice then perhaps consider an ice only option which yields large amounts. This unit will be handy as its easily accessible and simple enough for the kids to use.
